These chairs are solid, comfortable and lightweight. We own two of them that have held up well for 13 years of year-round outdoor use in eastern PA. They're now at the end of their life, and we're replacing them with new chairs, one of which I recently purchased. Assembly time will vary, based on your abilities/tools. It took me about 90 minutes working alone at a leisurely pace. The directions are pretty straightforward, although pilot holes are not drilled in the parts -- I recommend doing this -- and the directions for the arms are not real clear. We'll see how long these new chairs hold up.
