Years ago I built a Nativity from plywood and painted it white. Time has not been kind and the plywood delaminated and the paint was pealing off. This year I purchased the FrontYard Originals All Weather Holy Family Nativity (Large). This simple, beautiful, set is made from substantial PVC. It should withstand the weather well. It is very attractive in my front yard. All of the necessary hardware and instructions are included. The holes for the main frame (stable) are pre drilled. The brackets for the support stakes need to be screwed in. Holes are not predrilled. However, when using the supplied screws, no predrilled holes are required. It remains to be seen if a substantial wind will affect the set.
