Hand crafted all cotton futons provide comfort at a very affordable price. Our all cotton futons are approximately 5" thick and will compress over time getting firmer. Our futons are tufted to ensure all materials are kept in place. Suggested uses: This makes a great cushion for a futon couch frame, occasional guest bed or a bed mattress for a toddler aged individual. Most adults will find this mattress too soft a surface at first or too firm after the cotton compacts. In order to pass flammability tests per Federal Regulations, the cotton we use is treated with a small amount of borax. We can manufacture a mattress without borax, however, that would require a Doctor's note. Message us for more information.

Fantastic cotton mattress, exactly like the kind you find in South Asia. Perfect if you like firm surfaces with some added padding for side sleeping. I can sleep on my back or side very comfortably.It’s heavy, so fluffing it is a little tricky, but it’s doable. I do it every couple of months, which is less often than recommended, but it doesn’t get uncomfortable or lumpy between fluffs, which is great.I also added my queen mattress cover on it, which works perfectly. It’s not a snug fit, but it’s good enough to do the trick and to keep it safe from mites and other bugs.I use normal queen mattress fitted sheets and they work great too.
