I bought this both as a grip and charger for our extra controllers. So far it has been working well as both.The added grips sit a bit lower than the Nintendo equivalent which fit my larger hands slightly better, though the difference is not super obvious.The only minor issue I noticed is that one of the contollers was not locking in so I had to assemble it in with a bit more intention, and then it worked fine.
