His haunting songs explore the human condition, both individual and political. As the son of a preacher man, his music is imbued with a sense of the Universal and also the vacancy of the spiritual in the life of modern man. He currently makes his home in Salt Lake City where he earned degrees in philosophy and linguistics at the University of Utah. He plays in the local music scene there, and enjoys backcountry skiing and trail running.
