I waited almost a month to post my review because I wanted to truly experience this album. Tamar Braxton-Herbert came back with a vengeance. She set out to prove that she would not suffer the dreaded sophomore album curse, she succeeded. This album tells a story of heart-break and love from every angle. No matter where you are in your life when it comes to love you will enjoy this album. In my opinion almost every song could be a single with the exception of a few. My favs are "If I Don't Have You" (1st single from album), Free Fallin, Simple Things, King, and Raise the Bar. Honorable Mentions: S.O.N, Broken Record, Circles, Never. Now like any album there are some misses but out of 16 songs there were only two misses in my opinion Catfish and Must Be Good To You. These two records really did not need to be on the album and wrecked the flow for me. Other than that this album is her best work thus far and should definitely earn her, her first Grammy. Calling All Lovers will be played for years to come.
