I love taking freeze dried food camping, especially for dinner. Just boil water, add to the packet, wait a bit, and then eat. No dishes. Fold the empty packet up, place in your trash bag, and carry it out.I was VERY excited to find vegan-friendly food for backpacking. I love this one (spaghetti), and I love the Pad Thai and the Khatmandu Curry.Note: I always boil slightly less water than what the package directions calls for. Also, I find these portions just fine for me. The package claims the serving is for two. I hike a lot miles, so downing one of these by myself is a no-brainer. I would recommend sharing this dish with another ONLY if you are a very small eater.
